It began in 1955 when the Bartholomew family started caring for seniors who lived in 3 separate houses located in the City of Rochester. As the residents’ care needs changed it was evident these houses were no longer adequate setting for providing the care our residents needed and deserved. So in 1972, Crest Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center was built for the seniors living in these houses. A. John Bartholomew Sr. founded Crest Manor with his father, mother, and 2 sisters. Their commitment to care for seniors continued to grow. Today, John and his son John Bartholomew II own and operate four senior communities under Bartholomew Health Care Group (BHCG). Committing themselves to providing seniors quality health care.
